After breakfast, your local guide will pick you up at the hotel and accompany you to the Zhanqiao Pier, Built in 1891 as a naval pier, the Zhanqiao Pier is an iconic landmark of Qingdao.
Next proceed to Qingdao Catholic Church. Completed in 1910, it was the first facility constructed by German settlers in Qingdao. On you way to the church, you will visit Zhongshan Road, Qingdao's main thoroughfare.
The Qingdao Beer Museum, which was built adjoining the Qingdao Brewery in 1930, will be your next stop. Here you will have an opportunity to learn about brewing the famous Qingdao Beer.
After lunch the tour will proceed to the BaDaGuan (Eight Passes). Located to the east of Qingdao City, the Eight Passes are a collection of paths which lead down to the sea. Enjoy the natural beauty of the area, as well as the exotic charm of the villas in the area.
Next proceed to the city's WuSi Square and enjoy the sculptures along the Donghai Road.
Then move on to the world-famous Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center, the sailing venue for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Enjoy this new architectural wonder and symbol of new Qingdao.
Return to the hotel. Your local guide will suggest a restaurant option and shopping destination for the rest of the day.
