Detailed Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 Shanghai-Guilin
Activities: Arrive in Xiamen. Hotel-check in.
Meals: No meals
Transportation: Bus, Air (flight details: TBA)

Go to Shanghai airport on your own, then fly to Guilin.

After your arrival in Guilin, you will be greeted by your Guilin local guide who will then take you to your hotel. Your local guide will suggest a restaurant option and shopping destination for the rest of the day.

Today's activities end.

Day 2 Guilin-Yangshuo
Activities: Lijiang River sightseeing and cruise, take a stroll on the famous Yangshuo West Street.
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch
Transportation: Bus, ship

After breakfast, your local guide will pick you up at the hotel and accompany you to see the Lijiang River, where you will take a cruise down the stretch that runs between Guilin and Yangshuo. This section is one of the most famous places in China for tourists. Its banks have hills, cliffs, and caves that can be enjoyed from the comfort of a bamboo boat ride. The Lijiang River landscape has been compared to the hair of a beautiful woman and was described by the famous Chinese poet Hanyu as "a blue silk ribbon; the mountains resemble emerald hairpins".

Today you will have your lunch during the cruise. After returning to shore, you will be able to take a stroll on the famous Yangshuo West Street.

Return to the hotel. Your local guide will suggest a restaurant option and shopping destination for the rest of the day.

Day 3 Yangshuo-Guilin
Activities: Free program or you can take One Day Optional Tour: Yangshuo Discovery Tour. Transfer back to Guilin.
Meals: Breakfast
Transportation: No transportation

Day 4 Xiamen-Shanghai
Activities: Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill, Bravo Hill. Departure flight.
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch
Transportation: Bus, Air (flight details: TBA)

After breakfast, your local guide will pick you up at the hotel and accompany you to visit the Reed Flute Cave, located in a hidden spot on Guangmin Hill about 3.2 miles northwest of Guilin. It is Guilin's largest and most impressive cave.

After a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, proceed to Elephant Trunk Hill, situated on the western bank of the Lijiang River in south Guilin. It is shaped like an elephant that is dipping its trunk in the river.

Next visit Bravo Hill.

Your local guide will take you to Guilin airport for your departure flight to Shanghai.
